Diablo III – one hell of a game

There is no new thing the fact that the first two Diablo games of the series are defining milestones in the history of the genre hack & slash (action or RPG games, as you prefer to call them). There are enough games on the market that have copied the recipe, some successfully, but without touching the iconic status of the Diablo series. This legacy has created a huge horizon of expectations for Diablo III. To success, the game had to continue to innovate hack & slash genre, bringing it up to date, while preserving much of the spirit of its predecessors - start to play now.


In summary, the main changes they have brought to Diablo II compared to the other two games are:

-          -->>3D updated graphics

-          ->>Improved storyline through numerous cut scenes and dialogue

-          ->>Simplification of skill system

-          ->>An additional difficulty, Inferno

-          ->>Always online requirement, even for single player games


-          ->>Auction house, where players can trade objects for virtual money or real money.


In terms of graphic, the game looks great from my point of view. It is not easy to make a transition from 2D isometric to a modern 3D - see all your options.


The story from the first two Diablo games never won any awards for popularity. It was largely told through cinematic monologues and occasional NPC. But in big lines, it did a good job and provide a credible pretext for all the carnage that you had to do during the game.


Diablo II, in contrast, has a storyline outlined in thicker strokes. The story is highlighted by the numerous dialogues between quests and lore fragments found in dungeons. Quests are somewhat fragmented, with goals updated gradually (some of which are optional). The key points of the story are marked by cut scenes realized by the engine of the game, and between acts we have the well-known cinematic eye candy, well-known for Blizzard- get simple information .


Diablo III brings further simplification of how it is defined a character. Allocation of points for basic attributes (strength, vitality, dexterity, intelligence) is no longer done manually, but automatically every time you level up. The customization possibilities are quite limited from the start.


A similar amendment, but with greater impact, has been made to the system skill. As well, distribution of points has been dismissed. We have now to reconfigure the build any time, choosing skills as we want. To define a build character you will have to choose maximum 9 skills.


In conclusion, Diablo III is a good game to play, it’s an improved game that will offer you a great gaming experience.
